The great strides the district has been making in STEM and environmental education were on display Wednesday, September 28th at Goodnoe Elementary as part of the US Department of Education’s “Real World Learning” Green Strides tour.
There were no shortage of CR projects to show off at Goodnoe with over thirty tables of projects. Students, staff and district partners led discussions and hands-on activities that demonstrated sustainability education and STEM programs from a wide range of initiatives district wide. Students also provided musical entertainment with a junk band and songs to promote green initiatives.
Being part of the tour was another honor for the district, and another stride toward a greener, more sustainable future!
