Celebration Books
The Goodnoe Elementary library would like to help you celebrate the important events in your child’s life. Through the Celebration Book program, you can donate a book to the Goodnoe library to honor those significant moments. The celebration you choose is open-ended. It can be a birthday, a new baby, or you can choose to honor a teacher or remember a loved one. The books will remain part of Goodnoe’s library to be enjoyed year after year.
To participate in the Celebration Book Program, please print out the Celebration Book Form, fill it out and return it to the Library. After the library receives the form, your child will select a new book from the Celebration Book collection. Once the book is selected, a permanent bookplate is placed on the inside of the book. The bookplate states the celebration, the date it was donated, and who donated it. After it is processed it is then presented by Ms. Follmer to the person being honored. Students love when they are the person of honor and the Celebration book is presented to them in front of their class. Once the book is presented, the person of honor is the first to check the book out of the library.
Please let us help you celebrate your child’s life with a lasting donation of a book. Thank you for your support.
