School Counselors are child advocates who work cooperatively with the educational staff, parents and community; educational specialists who assist students with students' social, emotional and educational development; and human resource specialists who assist students, parents and educational staff through counseling, consultation and coordination. Naviance Family Connection is a comprehensive online tool which enables students and parents navigate the college and career planning process. Students can maintain an on-line portfolio of their college applications and career information, and parents can log in to chart their child's progress.
