Positive Behavioral Support Plan

Wrightstown Elementary Staff and community places heavy emphasis on

the importance of showing respect, courtesy and empathy for one another.

We take a proactive approach to reinforcing this in school. The following

is a list of the behavioral supports in place at Wrightstown Elementary

Character education lessons delivered via guidance counselor and classroom teachers

Cross age buddy activities that focus on teambuilding and character education

Implementation of Restorative Practices

Implementation of Responsive Classroom

Small friendship groups facilitated by guidance counselor

Individual student check ins facilitated by guidance counselor

•

Building service projects

•

Providing students with many opportunities to reflect on their own behavior via Apology in Action reflection sheets
