Dear Students, Parents and Visitors,
It is my pleasure to welcome you to Maureen M. Welch Elementary School. Since opening in 2000, our school has established itself as an outstanding place for children to learn, grow and achieve. Our dedicated teachers and staff work as partners with parents and the community to provide enriching learning opportunities and strong support for all our students. I am proud and honored to serve as principal of MMW where children come first and everyone strives to continually improve our service to them.

Besides the informative websites for individual teachers and programs, our homepage contains links to many other helpful resources such as our school calendar, Parent-Student Handbook, and Positive Behavioral Support (PBS) Plan. For an overview of our students' academic performance on the PSSA state testing, click on the MMW Report Card link. Information and news from our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is available by clicking on the PTO tab. Speaking of the PTO, I would be remiss if I didn't mention the tremendous support that our PTO provides our students, families and school. If you are an MMW parent, please consider joining the PTO and supporting their programs and initiatives that benefit MMW's students and families.
