Welcome! I am enjoying my twelfth and last year as a Council Rock administrator. I have had the privilege of being the grade level principal for the graduating classes of 2005 and 2009. It has been a real pleasure watching the Class of 2013 mature as they transitioned from freshmen to seniors.
In addition to my grade level responsibilities, I am the liaison to the Counseling, English as a Second Language, Library, Music, and World Language departments. I also am responsible for the curriculum, the master schedule, program planning, grade reporting, the Graduation Project, student teachers, and staff development. Prior to coming to the high school, I was the district library coordinator and the librarian at Newtown Middle School. I received my undergraduate degree in French and Russian from Pennsylvania State University and my master’s degree from Drexel University in Information Science. I earned my Principal’s Certification through the College of New Jersey.
On a personal note, my husband and I have two adult daughters who graduated from Council Rock. My older daughter was a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy and served on the USS Nassau. She now works as a civilian for the Department of Defense. My younger daughter lives near Baltimore where she is an elementary school counselor. An avid reader, I also enjoy traveling, biking, the outdoors, and spending time with my family.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. I will do my best to answer them or direct you to the person who can.
