Council Rock High School South uses Naviance as the main college information tool. Naviance enables our counseling office to offer a comprehensive website that you and your child can use to help in making decisions about colleges and careers. Naviance is used to help track and analyze data about college and career plans so it provides up-to-date information that's specific to our school.
Naviance will allow you and your child to keep track of the process, research colleges, and recieve communication from our school. Students are introduced to the program in their tenth grade English classes where they complete Do What You Are, a personality based career assessment test. They are then re-introduced to the program in eleventh grade in their initial college orientation sessions with their counselor. Since it is internet based students can easily access this program and they are encouraged to use it during the college process.
When students or parents register with the program, after using their initial access code, you provide an email address and create your own password. It is important to keep the email address up to date in order to receive communication. If you forget your password you can have it resent to you. You can always enter as a guest as well.
