The Run Over Cancer is a 5K run to raise money for Fund A Cure for Pancreatic Cancer, a locally based charity that is dedicated to making direct donations to Pancreatic Cancer researchers, raising awareness of pancreatic cancer and advocating for an increase in research funding. Our 5th Annual 5K will take place on July 6th at CRSouth. We are looking for volunteers to help us facilitate race day- everything from helping with registration, parking, set up, and helping with race results. We are offering a LINCS Volunteer Opportunity to help out at the Northampton Baseball’s 11th Annual Bertschi Tournament which is held over Memorial weekend from Saturday, May 26th to Monday, May 28th. The baseball tournament occurs at the Northampton Municipal Center on the Civic Center Fields at 451 Newtown-Richboro Rd in Richboro, Pa 18954. The Council Rock Swimming and Diving Club will be hosting a multi-session swim meet on the weekend of October 6 and 7, 2012 at the Council Rock High School North Natatorium. Volunteers are needed to assist in various activities associated with running a successful swim meet including: back-up timing, awards distribution, safety monitor, concessions, equipment set up and clean up, information distribution, and hospitality assistance.
