 Reading Olympic Meeting Dates: Friday at 8:30 in the Library!
Dates: Jan. 11, Jan 18, Feb. 1, Feb. 8, Feb 28th, March 8, March 15th
Competition is Thursday, March 21st at CR SOUTH 
 
 
The Reading Olympics is a celebration of reading which has been in existence since 1993. We hope to encourage a love of reading with this exciting event. At Maureen M Welch, we invite all interested 5th and 6th graders to participate on our team. Each team member must submit a copy of the "Reading Olympics Participation Form" to Mrs. Ventresca prior to participating on the team.
 
   Our team meets in January, February and March to prepare for the county wide competition that takes place on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Council Rock South. During the meetings, we discuss the books on the Reading Olympics Booklist, and practice answering questions about the books.
The students on the team read a minimum of 10 books from the Reading Olympics Booklist and are required to attend each meeting.
