2006 – 2010 Head Varsity Baseball Coach  New Hope-Solebury High School.

a.   Took over New Hope-Solebury High School that averaged 5 wins a season, and  won 15 games in our first year, and finished runner up in the AA District 1 Champhionship. 

b.   All 5 years in a row playing in the District 1 AA Championship.  District Champion 2008 and 2009.
c.   Won 77 games in 5 years at New Hope-Solebury. 

d.   BAL Champions 2008.

e.   PIAA-AA State Quarter Finalist 2009. 

f.    BAL Coach of the Year 2006 and 2008.

Michael J. Horan, ATC

Head Athletic Trainer

 
2009-2010 marks the 13th season for Mike Horan as the Council Rock North High School Indian's head athletic trainer. Mike is certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification (1997) as well as by the Pennsylvania Board of Medicine (1997). His athletic training experience includes assignments for both professional and college teams before returning to his alma mater, Council Rock. Mike began his career as an intern with the Eastern League AA Bowie Baysox in 1995 (Baltimore Orioles affiliate), before moving onto Villanova University where he worked with the men's & women's soccer teams, men's & women's swimming teams, and the men's lacrosse team during the 1996-1997 season. In 1997, Mike was the athletic trainer for the Gulf Coast League Sarasota Orioles (Baltimore Orioles affiliate), and in 1998 he was a member of the medical staff for the US Figure Skating Championships.
 
Coach Horan is currently the head athletic trainer for Council Rock North High School, a position that covers all sports teams in all seasons. In this role, he not only addresses the daily needs of the student-athletes, but he also coordinates the many medical professionals that have volunteered their time and talents to assist the Indians athletic program throughout the year. Mike resides in Newtown with his wife Erica and his three sons: Jake (7), Ryan (4), and Thomas (3). Mike's reason for continuing to be the athletic trainer at CR North is that he loves working at his alma mater and he loves helping our athletes stay "healthy and in the game."

Ted Sloan

Head of Field Maintenance & Grounds Crew

 
Ted Sloan is the head of the CR North Baseball Team's ground crew and field maintenance.  Along with his many other duties, Coach Sloan meticulously maintains the Varsity and JV facilities including the field, bull pens, hitting tunnels, and surrounding areas.
